Cythera Transition House - For Women and Children Experiencing Abuse

Provides a safe refuge and basic necessities for women and children fleeing abuse in Ridge Meadows.
The Transition House provides a safe refuge and basic necessities for up to 30 days to women and children fleeing abuse. Staffed 24 hours a day, residents receive emotional support in a secure, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment. Practical information and help linking up with services such as housing, legal rights, income assistance, child-care, and other community resources are provided.

In addition, a Children’s Support Worker is available to assist children in dealing with this very traumatic change in their lives.
