Employment Support - Mental Health and Disabilities

Offers a range of programs to support employment goals for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.
The following programs are offered:
  • Centennial Place Employment: Provides support as well as experience building opportunities for members working towards their individual employment goals. Offered to individuals with mental health conditions in the Fraser Valley. Clubhouse members are referred to Centennial Place by their local mental health centre or family physician.   • Centennial Place Therapeutic Volunteer Program: Provides opportunity for individuals to volunteer in the community and gain meaningful experience. Offered to individuals with mental health conditions in the Fraser Valley. Click contact us for more information.
  • Support Toward Employment Program: STEP gives valuable employment support and job search training to individuals referred from Fraser Health. In addition, STEP offers work experience through Communitas’ various social enterprises. Offered to individuals with mental health conditions in the Fraser Valley. This service requires a referral from Fraser Health. Click contact us for more information.
  • Community Living Employment Program: Provides training through classes and coaching so that individuals gain skills and experience with the goal of finding meaningful, paid employment. Offered to individuals with developmental disabilities in the Fraser Valley. This service requires a referral from Community Living BC (CLBC). Click contact us for more information
