Fraser Valley Addictions & Recovery Hub provides Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) as part of a compassionate, evidence-based approach to treating opioid dependence. Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) is a medically supervised treatment that uses medications like methadone or suboxone to help manage withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, and support recovery from opioid dependence.
The doctor-led program offers ongoing medical care and support to help individuals reduce withdrawal symptoms, stabilize, and move forward in their recovery journey. OAT is one of the most effective forms of treatment for opioid use disorder and is delivered with respect, privacy, and cultural sensitivity.

Services offered include:
  • Doctor-Led Care: Ongoing medical oversight and personalized treatment plans
  • Medications: Including methadone, suboxone, and other OAT options based on clinical assessment
  • Clinic Support: Access to daily check-ins, warm meals, peer support, and connection to additional services
  • Low-Barrier Access: Welcomes individuals regardless of where they are in their recovery
  • Optional Referrals:To counselling, housing, or mental health services when appropriate
The OAT program is covered by MSP. Individuals without coverage can receive assistance with applying or may be eligible for support through a sponsored program.
