Maple Ridge Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT Clinic) – Food For The Soul Project Society - Addictions Treatment

Provides opioid agonist treatment and related services.
This clinic offers opioid agonist treatments (methadone and suboxone) and other related harm reduction and addiction services at little to no cost to the patient. A monthly fee is charged, but if you are unable to afford this, the clinic is able to find a solution for you by way of a sliding scale, or find sponsorship. This is on a case-by-case basis, so please contact the organization directly to discuss your situation with their staff, and what your options may be.

The program is suitable for Individuals who are addicted* to opioid drugs such as Heroin, Oxycodone, Hydromorphone and Fentanyl, Codeine, Tylenol #3 and prescription opiates. This clinic does not manage chronic pain and is unsuitable for individuals dependent on opioid drugs. *Refer to DSM-IV

What is the treatment: Individuals who use substances will be provided with a replacement drug, a prescribed medicine such as methadone or Suboxone, which is administered orally in a supervised clinical setting.

This OAT clinic also provides harm reduction supplies (from condoms to rigs) and addiction counselling (offered weekly).

Individuals who receive treatment also have access to the following:
  • Medical and counselling services
  • Referrals for our transitional housing and other supports
  • Referral to additional treatment
