Together in Movement and Exercise (TIME) Classes - For adults with stroke, brain injury, MS and other mobility challenges

An exercise program that helps individuals to improve their mobility while they live independently in their home community.
What does the program include?:
  • One-hour circuit-based exercise classes, led by fitness trainers at local recreational centres in partnership with Fraser Health
  • Practical techniques for you to practice on your own at home
  • Opportunities to meet with other class participants with similar conditions and support each other

TIME classes are designed for adults with conditions such as Stroke, Acquired brain injury, Multiple sclerosis and other mobility concerns.

Registration for classes is through the local community recreation centre. Check the local recreation guide for the current class schedule.

The cost of the program varies slightly from community to community. The average cost is just over $10 per class.

TIME is a community-based group exercise program for individuals living with balance and mobility issues. The program aims to improve access to appropriate exercise for people living with physical disabilities and allows individuals with mobility impairments to reintegrate into their communities.
