The Salvation Army Church offers an emergency food bank at no cost for families and individuals in need. In addition they host weekly community lunches for adults.
The Food Bank can be accessed at a maximum of one time per month and is for people who are financially struggling. Who qualifies? Anyone on income assistance, such as disability, pension, or employment insurance and whose total monthly income does not exceed the following limits:
The food bank runs Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Weekly lunches are provided on Wednesdays.
- Family of 1 – $1,200
- Family of 2 – $1,350
- Family of 3 – $1,500
- Family of 4 – $1,550
- Family of 5 – $1,600
- Family of 6 – $1,700
- Family of 7 – $1,750
- Family of 8 – $1,850
- Family of 9 – $1,900
The food bank runs Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Weekly lunches are provided on Wednesdays.
