Coquitlam Public Libraries offers a wide range of books and digital materials, technology and accessibility services, community programs, and helpful facilities across its branches to support learning and connection for all residents.
Coquitlam Public Library provides access to a large selection of books, magazines, DVDs, streaming media, video games, and lendable tech, in addition to our accessible electronic materials such as journals, magazines, newspapers, online courses and databases. Home Delivery & Accessibility Services:
  • Home Delivery: Library materials can be delivered to homes and picked up for return, free of charge. Library staff can hand-select titles based on provided criteria, or specific titles may be requested for borrowing. Available for all Coquitlam residents (60+) and residents who are temporarily or permanently homebound in private homes, residences and care centres. This delivery service runs every 4-weeks, and requires registration.

  • Accessibility Services: The library offers accessible reading services for customers with print disabilities, including a special collection of physical audiobooks (available at the Poirier branch with registration), a small selection of children’s braille books in the Lower Mainland, and digital accessible materials through the Centre for Equitable Library Access (CELA), which provides braille, books, magazines, and newspapers to residents of all ages.
