Prenatal Care and Registration - Healthy Start

Provided by Northern Health

Provides public health services to pregnant women, new mothers, babies, children, and families.
Public health nurses work closely with doctors, midwives, and hospitals through the prenatal registry to support patients in order to have the healthiest pregnancy and baby possible.

Services include prenatal and postpartum information and resources, health assessments, referrals to community services, and early supports such as breastfeeding and infant feeding assistance, parenting information, and emotional support.
