Abbotsford Addictions Centre

Provided by Archway Community Services

Therapists provide free alcohol and drug outpatient services, with multicultural and seniors addictions components.
The Abbotsford Addictions Centre work with individuals, couples, and families, providing one-to-one counselling, couple and family counselling, and groups. They serve youth and adults regarding their own substance misuse or the effect that someone else’s substance misuse has on others.

Services provided include:
  • Individual, couples, and family (addictions or substance affected) counselling
  • Recovery and support groups
  • Smart Recovery groups
  • Substance affected group
  • Prevention activities in the community
  • Referrals to other services
  • Can provide culturally sensitive counselling services in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
The Abbotsford Addictions Centre also offers a variety of educational materials to the community, including pamphlets, videos, and other resources. Public presentations are available upon request. Prevention initiatives are delivered in both schools and the broader community, and staff actively participate in several local committees focused on substance use prevention.

This program is funded by the Fraser Health Authority, so there is no charge for any of the services.
