Provides free tax clinics for eligible older adults from March to April.
Brella offers free tax clinics in South Surrey for eligible older adults with modest income and simple tax situations from March 6th to April 30th each year. The program is offered through the Canada Revenue Agency’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). If you need assistance filing your income tax return, please call for more information. Registration is required.
Program eligibility:
- Individuals over age 55
- Income is under $35,000 for a single person or under $45,000 for a couple
- Investment income is under $1,000
- Individuals that have a simple tax situation.
