The Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre Society serves families of children with confirmed or suspected developmental delays or disorders.
The Centre has 4 programs:
  • Early Intervention Program: Serve families of children with confirmed or suspected developmental delays or disorders, until they enter school. Services include occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech-language pathology and family support services.
  • School-Age Therapy Program: Serves children enrolled in a public school in School District #42. Students may receive consultation services for physiotherapy or occupational therapy.
  • Family Connections Program: This is a service offered to families to who have a child or children, up to the age of 19, affected or suspected of being affected with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS). The program also offers an educational program for parents/caregivers of children 5 – 12 years of age, who have a confirmed diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
  • Direct Funding Respite Program: This is a service, administered by RMCDC, that provides funds for up to 28 families to purchase their own respite care. Families must be referred by the Ministry for Children and Family Development.

Please contact the Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre to inquire about program locations. Programs are not currently offered at the head office location.
