Financial Assistance for Recreation (FAR)

Provided by City of Coquitlam
Provides financial assistance to access social and recreational programming in Coquitlam for those in need.
Eligible individuals are Coquitlam residents who:
- Are Canadian citizen and/or permanent resident currently living in the City of Coquitlam OR
- Are refugees who have settled within the City of Coquitlam OR
- Meet the income verification requirements and have all the required documents
Individuals can apply to the program through a referral from an agency or by filling out a new application.
Program Components
Each eligible family member will receive:
- 50 drop-in passes and;
- $225 credit towards City of Coquitlam admissions, passes and programs.
