Residential treatment for male youths. Provides alcohol and substance abuse treatment for youth ages 13 to 18 years and 19 to 25 years of age.
Last Door is a treatment Centre that provides quality alcohol rehab, substance abuse, and drug treatment services. A continuum of care includes a mental health assessment, individual and group therapy, peer support, balanced diet and nutrition, recreation, positive socialization, family counselling, post-treatment continuing care and access to educational opportunities. Programs are from 3 months to over one year in length; longer programs include a return to school support program and other long-term life skills support.

Detoxification before intake is preferred but may not be necessary. Clients must be physically and mentally able to participate in all components of an intensive recovery program and a group living environment. Clients must be motivated to attempt an abstinence-based program. The program also provides weekly parents group sessions, and weekly youth program alumni support group.

Referral Instructions: Please contact the Last Door intake team for a telephone screening to discuss the detox protocol and suitability. Residential Detox is only available to clients who plan on participating in Last Door’s longer-term treatment program.
