Provides opioid agonist treatment, recovery programs, and related services for substance use disorder and addictions through privately run clinics.
CATC has a network of outpatient opioid treatment centres that provide opioid addiction treatments, along with additional supports and services. They offer support to people experiencing substance use disorders and behavioral addictions, as well as concurrent underlying mental health conditions, at any stage of recovery.

No referral is required, there is no waitlist and walk-ins are welcome for the following services:
  • Prescription refills
  • Referrals to other healthcare providers
  • Opiod Use Treatment Programs
  • Methadone, Suboxone, Sublocade and other evidence-based treatments
  • Harm Reduction Services
  • Basic Primary Care
  • Hepatitis C and HIV Treatment
  • Counselling/Case management
  • Naloxone Kits
Cost to Access Services:
  • In BC, the cost of opioid agonist treatment (OAT) medication and Addiction Medicine Physicians’ services for BC residents is covered by MSP.
  • If you are not enrolled in MSP, the pharmacist or the CATC team can help to get temporary coverage of OAT.
  • The team works with patients to determine their eligibility for funding through a variety of sources including: Income Assistance, Disability Services, First Nations Health Authority, Corrections, Veteran’s Services, etc.
  • If patients are not covered under the above funding, the team will work with each patient to make the cost of treatment as affordable as possible within their individual circumstances. Please contact one of the clinics for information specific to your circumstance(s).
